Twins A drop openers at Keith Sell tourney

HELENA — The Glacier Twins A Legion baseball team started off the Keith Sell Tournament in Helena with a pair of losses on Thursday.

Tied 2-2 in the fourth inning of the first game of the day, Helena Senators scored three runs and took back the lead for good. Glacier managed a run in the fifth, but couldn’t rally.

In the second game against the Bozeman Bucks, the Twins’ bats were working but the runs weren’t coming — they scored one run on seven total hits. The Bucks scored four runs on six hits.

WHITEFISH — The Libby Loggers 18U team took an early lead on the Glacier Twins B and didn’t let off the gas.

The Loggers scored two runs each in the first and fourth innings and had eight hits with two errors. Glacier scored one run on three hits.
