Joan “Joani” Eisentraut, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the Beehive Home of Kalispell.

Joani was born in San Mateo, California, on Dec. 21, 1950, to Alton W. “Al” and Cecilia T. “Ceal” (Oswald) Jennings. She grew up in Mountain View, California, and Fresno, California.

Joani practiced real estate and later joined the family business at Moonlighting Detective Agency. Always looking for a thrill, Joani spent her pastime hiking, kayaking and horseback riding. She never passed up the opportunity for a daring adventure at Disney World or a soaring zip line ride.

Joani is survived by her daughter Cayce, stepdaughter Dawn (Mark) Puerling of Wisconsin, her sister Jane Jennings of California, niece Jasmine Jennings and family of California, and cousins Jay and Jane Jennings of California.

Joani was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Ceal Jennings, her husband Ike Eisentraut, and her daughter Jessica Ellery.

She was a member of Faith Covenant Church in Kalispell.
