Wind storm halts production of Inter Lake

The Monday edition of the Daily Inter Lake did not print due to a widespread power outage in the Flathead Valley.

The power at the Inter Lake’s office went out early Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m. and was not restored until the early hours of Monday morning.

As of Monday morning at 9 a.m. power had been restored at the office. Print newspaper subscribers will receive the Monday edition with their Tuesday paper, assuming there are no additional power outage issues.

While power has been restored, most of the Inter Lake’s phone lines remain down. The main phone line is working, but was receiving a high volume of calls as of Monday morning. The Inter Lake apologizes for the inconvenience and asks that callers exercise patience.
