Betty Ruth Isch Trueblood

Betty passed away peacefully on June 9, 2020 at Edgewood Vista.

Betty was born Nov. 7, 1937 in Glasgow, Montana to Esther and John Brenden. She graduated from Nashua High School. She moved to Kalispell and married Burton Isch on Feb. 7, 1960. They had two children Lori and Stacy Isch. They farmed Burton’s family property on Middle Road and their property on Columbia Falls Stage and other leased land. On Burton’s abrupt death in 1989, Betty, with Stacy’s help, moved to Village Greens. Betty married Darrell Trueblood on Sept. 9, 1994. They enjoyed golf and numerous travels. With Betty’s health declining, she spent the last few years in assisted living and memory care.

Betty is survived by Darrell Trueblood of Kalispell; daughters Lori Isch of Kirkland, Washington and Stacy Isch of Kalispell; granddaughters Reese and Regin Koester; brother Gary Brenden of Leesburg, Florida and Susan Vertz of Tucson, Arizona.

Betty adored her granddaughters and set aside money for college and to pursue their dreams.

Donations in honor of Betty can be the charity of choice. A graveside service happened June 12 with a memorial being June 26 at 11 a.m. at Creston Church.
