No. 27055 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RURAL WHITEFISH ZONING DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana hereby gives notice, pursuant to Section 76-2-205(1), M.C.A., that it will hold a public hearing to consider a request by Kelcey and Tawnya Bingham to change the zoning designation in a portion of the Rural Whitefish Zoning District from SAG-10 (Suburban Agricultural) to R-2.5 (Rural Residential). The boundaries of the areas proposed to be amended from SAG-10 (Suburban Agricultural) to R-2.5 (Rural Residential) are described as: Parcel A of Certificate of Survey No. 20612, located in US Government Lot 4 in Section 30, Township 31 North, Range 21 West, Flathead County, Montana. The regulations defining the SAG-10 and R-2.5 zones are contained in the Flathead County Zoning Regulations, on file for public inspection at the Office of the Board of Commissioners, 800 South Main, Room 302, Kalispell, Montana, at the Flathead County Planning and Zoning Office, 40 11th Street West, Kalispell, Montana, and online at: http://flathead.mt.gov/planning_zoning/downloads.php. No. 27065 NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The GNA Taylor Hellroaring timber sale is located within Sections 8, 17, 20, 21, 26, & 27 of T32N - R22W; and Section 11 of T31N-R22W on the Flathead National Forest, approximately 34,787 tons, consisting of mixed conifer sawlogs, are offered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on July 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Forestry Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $21,112.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract and Timber Sale Bond. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. If the successful bidder is unable to execute the contract within 30 calendar days from the date the sale is awarded, the bid deposit will be retained by the Department as liquidated damages.
