No. 26991 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Flathead County Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: FDP-20-06 A request by Carver Engineering on behalf of Bill & Caroline Vlachos for fill, road construction, commercial buildings and excavation work proposed within the area mapped as Zone A 100-year floodplain. The applicants are proposing the placement of fill for future building construction, fill for a roadway and excavation to extend a pond that equals or exceeds the volume of water displaced by the placement of the fill material. The volume of fill to be placed below the calculated BFE is 577 cubic yards. The proposed expansion of the pond would create a void of approximately 587 cubic yards. The subject property is located north of McDermott Lane off Highway 93, and can legally be described as Tract 2G in Section 01, Township 29 North, Range 22 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana.
