Robert 'Bob' Dowd Doolittle, 72

Robert “Bob” Dowd Doolittle, 72, passed away at his home in Whitefish on Oct. 31, 2020.

Bob was born on June 23, 1948, to Clifford and Ruth Doolittle.

“Cowboy Bob” would greet you with his piercing blue eyes and his friendly smile! To his workmates he was known as “Backhoe Bob,” a skilled heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed the outdoors very much. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved horses and camping.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby, and both of his parents.

He is survived by his brother James, his daughter Shari Smith, his daughter Amity Zander, and his four grandchildren; Sydnie, Canaan, Nicholas, and Kyrie.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the future at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
