One dead following Monday crash in Kalispell

Authorities are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred Monday morning in Kalispell.

According to information from the Kalispell Police Department, officers responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 93 south and Kelly Road.

One driver was unresponsive and died at the scene, despite life-saving efforts. The other driver was taken to the emergency room at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The department and Montana Highway Patrol are investigating.

The identities of the drivers are not being released, pending family notification.
