Darlene Hill, 84
Darlene Hill, 84, of Bigfork, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 28, 2020, after a long illness.
Darlene was born to Oren and Edna Doty in Remer, Minnesota.
She and Jack were married in 1967, lived in Washington for 18 years then settled in Montana for the last 33 years. Between them they had one son, Dan. Darlene was the proud mother to six boys, one stepson and one stepdaughter.
Darlene was also a wonderful wife and friend. She was an excellent cook, baker and was especially known for her delicious, homemade pies. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, sewing and crafting, which produced many beautiful quilts, ceramics and other unique specialties.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, two sons, Andy and Ernie Campbell, her sister Crystal Gilkey, and two brothers Lee and Glen Brue.
She is survived by four sons, Jim, Mike, Steve and Dan, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place at Johnson- Gloschat Funeral Home.
We would like to invite all friends and family to join us in celebrating her life this Saturday, Oct. 10, 2 p.m. at Ferndale Grange Hall.
