Glacier claims Crosstown Cup

A strong second-day showing by the Glacier boys helped the Wolfpack withstand a charge by the Flathead girls, and the 2020 Crosstown Cup went to Glacier Tuesday at Buffalo Hill Golf Club.
The annual match-play competition between Kalispell’s two AA high school started with 2-person best ball on Monday, with Glacier’s boys taking four of five matches from the Braves.
On Tuesday it was singles, and the Glacier boys won 7 of 10 matches while the Flathead Bravettes won 5 of 8.
Among those winning on both days were: Will Salonen, Ethan Purdy, Trey Engellant and Sam Manaker for the Glacier boys; MJ Reed and Brooklyn Sampson for the Flathead girls; and Stella Claridge, Sophia LeDuc and Jillian Kinniburgh of Glacier’s girls.
