Wildcats’ Peters throws for 4 TDs

COLUMBIA FALLS —- Mason Peters threw for 256 yards and four touchdowns, and the Columbia Falls Wildcats improved to 2-0 with a 55-0 win over Northwestern A foe Ronan Friday.

Peters completed 14 of 17 passes with no interceptions and had scoring strikes of 17 and 20 yards to Zane McCallum and 9 and 22 yards to Jordan Knapton.

Rowdy White led a strong run game with 108 yards on six carries, including a 48-yard touchdown burst that put the Wildcats up 13-0.

Cody Schweikert added two short scoring runs for Columbia Falls, which piled up 479 yards of offense. Cade Morgan caught seven passes for 129 yards.

The Wildcats’ Reece Rouig capped the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown run.
