Ralph Raymond Ross, 72

| September 13, 2020 12:00 AM

Ralph Raymond Ross passed on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at the age of 72 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was surrounded by his loving family as he passed on to be with the Lord.

Ralph “Ray” was born on June 15, 1948, in Redding, California, to the late Ralph Raymond Ross Sr., and Ruth. He was the youngest of two children who are both deceased.

Ray enlisted in the Army when he was 18 years of age and served in Vietnam. He was proud to sacrifice his life for the freedom of this country. While in the Army he met the love of his life, Yvonne; they celebrated this past February 50 wonderful years together. They had two of the finest kids you ever could meet, Rocky (Christina) and April (Alan Coonfare).

Ray enjoyed the great outdoors hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, being with his family, and doing whatever his favorite grandson wanted to do. He was a proud grandparent, rooting on the sidelines for his grandson Drake in all his sports and activities.

He attended church at New Life Center in Kalispell where he served in teaching Bible studies, preaching, lead in worship, and served on the board. He loved God and was a wonderful spiritual leader for his family.

Ray was a wonderful husband, a great father, a proud grandpa, and a loyal friend. He was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need of help. He is loved by many and will be dearly missed. He touched many lives, more than he will ever know. The memories will always be cherished by Ray with his great sense of humor, his laugh, and the joy he brought into many lives.

Celebration of life service will be at a later date.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. — 2 Timothy 4:7,8

We will see you soon, Dad!
