No. 27666 NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the South Kalispell Rural Fire District that on May 4, 2021, pursuant to a resolution duly adopted by the Trustees on March 3, 2021, anl election by the registered voters will be held in and for the District for the purpose of voting on the question of whether or not to increase the specific number of mills to be imposed against taxable property located within the District pursuant to MCA 15-10-420, for the purpose of more consistent response times throughout the district. The increased levy of 16 mills would provide approximately $80,000 per year based upon current taxable valuation. The impact of levying 16 mills on a home valued at $100,000.00 would be approximately $21.61 per year and upon a home valued at $200,000.00 would be approximately $43.22 for 2021.. Ballots will be mailed to all eligible registered voters of the Fire District on April 14, 2021 and must be returned by each voter, by mail or in person to the Flathead County Election Department 40 11th St West #230, Kalispell, Montana, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), weekdays through May 4, 2021. No. 27687 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Flathead County Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: FDP-21-02 A request by Melissa Linrude with technical assistance from Larsen Engineering, for a permit for bank stabilization, within the 100-year floodplain of Swan River. The applicant proposes to place approximately 70 cubic yards (100 lineal feet) of riprap in the flood fringe. The applicant has provided documentation of an approved 310 permit and a 404 permit. The project can be located by assessor number 0763010, and further described as Tract 7G in Section 27, Township 27 North, Range 19 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. FDP-21-06 A request by Steven and Michele Shapero, for a permit for an accessory structure, within the 100-year floodplain of Flathead River. The applicant proposes to place 2 galvanized posts, which attach to a dock, in the flood fringe. The project can be located at 333 Eagle Bend Drive, and further described as Tract HAW-9-BLK2 in Section 26, Township 27 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana.
