Loggers outscore Eureka, 16-8

LIBBY — Taylor Munro homered and drove in five runs and pitched the last five innings of Libby’s 16-8 non-conference softball win over Eureka Saturday.

Munro also doubled and scored three times; Bethany Thomas matched her with three hits and three runs scored. Destiny Thomas rapped a pair of doubles.

Libby led 15-1 before Eureka scored seven times in its half of the fourth. Only one run was earned. The Loggers issued seven walks and committed four errors.

Micheal Shea tripled and drove in three for Eureka; Rhianna Hawkins had two of the Lions’ five hits.
