Law roundup: ‘Shady characters’ come and go from store
The manager of a business off U.S. 93 North reportedly had “some shady characters” who kept going back and forth from the store and vehicles that had been in the lot over the past couple of days. It was unknown if they had been shoplifting.
A passerby allegedly told the Kalispell Police Department a man with a bloody face said he was jumped at a bus stop off Third Avenue East North, but they didn’t see anyone else around. The passerby planned to wait with the man until an ambulance arrived.
A man reportedly pushed someone’s fence over, breaking the base of it after it had been fixed when the wind previously blew it over. The man also reportedly broke the person’s clothesline.
People allegedly ran through someone’s private property, broke tree limbs, jumped over the fence and ran down the street.
A man was dropped off at the hospital for a mental health evaluation after he allegedly used and vandalized a business’s bathroom, littered everywhere and became “a little unruly” when employees tried to remove him from the property. Employees said he also had a “set up” by the dumpsters.
