Law roundup: Woman caught in low-speed chase

| April 17, 2021 5:00 AM

A woman on the east side of Kalispell was driving a children’s toy Jeep in and out of traffic and allegedly bumping into a building. However, the person who reported the mini-motorist was placed on hold while the Kalispell Police Department handled another call, and the caller disconnected.

Someone at a restaurant wasn’t sure why a man passed out and fell backwards, but the caller thought it might have something to do with the beer sitting next to the unconscious man.

A driver of a truck with a trailer, but no handicapped placard, received a citation for parking in the handicapped spot.

An unidentified shooter fired a pellet gun at a truck.

A caller claimed a woman was drinking in her parked vehicle, but when KPD officers found the woman, she denied the accusation and there didn’t appear to be any evidence of alcohol consumption.

A woman was spotted trespassing into a fenced yard multiple times. She told law enforcement she was trying to get away from a conflict at home, but her mother gave KPD officers the impression “none of her claims were substantiated.”

A woman left her vehicle unlocked and items, including her passport, were taken.

A woman decided it was finally time to get law enforcement to check on her sister because she hadn’t been heard from since September.
