Bannack String Band plays in Big Arm

The Bannack String Band will perform in the school yard of the historic Big Arm School Saturday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and come learn about local history through music. The musicians have played together for over 30 years and hail from rural communities in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. For further information, contact Jeff or Nancy Foster at 849-5064.

Artist Sunnie LeBlanc gives final ‘Easel Talk’ Thursday

This is the final week to view “Art in the Time of Covid: Oil Paintings by Marnell Brown & Sunnie LeBlanc,” which features works created during this difficult, but inspiring year. The exhibition is in the Bigfork Art & Cultural Center which is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibition’s final day will be Saturday, Aug. 7.

The last chance to meet one of the artists, Sunnie LeBlanc, will be at her final “Easel Talk” today, Aug. 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. LeBlanc will reveal the stories behind many of the paintings in the exhibition, along with insights into the minds and eyes of the artist
