Glacier girls lead at Missoula Invitational

MISSOULA — Glacier’s Stella Claridge and Chloe Tanner sit fourth and fifth, respectively, and the Wolfpack has a 12-shot lead on Capital after the first day of the Missoula Invitational golf tournament.

Claridge shot an 89 and Tanner a 92. Flathead’s Jillian Wynne is third overall with an 87.

Corvallis’ Macie Greenwood leads individually, with a 77.

On the boys side, Glacier’s Keaton Cassidy is in fourth with a 75 and Joston Cripe of Flathead is tied for fifth with a 76.

Teamwise, the Glacier boys are sitting third (314) and Flathead fifth (339). Sentinel leads the boys’ competition at 301.

The tournament concludes today.
