School masks
I see that some schools in the Flathead Valley are not requiring masks for students. I am retired and have no school-age children in school and my grandkids are all in Washington, so I have no skin in the game.
Flathead County represents one fourth of the new Covid cases in the state. My question is, when any of those school children die of Covid-19, especially the aggressive delta variant and new variants identified as gamma, epsilon and so forth, who should be sued for those lost lives? The state that will not mandate? The county? The health board? The school superintendents?
If I were a parent of school-age children, especially those not eligible for vaccination, I would want to know. Perhaps the school boards should take this seriously and do their jobs.
