No. 28008 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Lakeside Water & Sewer District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering, grant writing, and grant administration services. These services are to potentially include improvements to both the water and wastewater systems. The successful firm will work in coordination with the District. The full request for proposal may be obtained from the Lakeside Water & Sewer District at 253 Bierney Creek Rd, Lakeside, MT 59922 or by contacting Rodney Olson @ 406-844-3881. Six copies of the proposal must be received by 5:00 p.m. on September 15, 2021 and should be submitted to the District office. Please state "Engineering and Grant Writing Services Proposal" on the outside of the response package. Proposals may be mailed to the Lakeside Water & Sewer District, 253 Bierney Creek Road, Lakeside, MT 59922. This solicitation is being offered in accordance with Federal and Montana statutes governing procurement of professional services. The District reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory or inappropriate. No. 28012 Area Landowners Board of County Commissioners Re: Public Notification Letter Opencut Mining Permit: Jellison Site - Flathead County, Montana To Whom It May Concern: Schellinger Construction Co., Inc. of Columbia Falls, Montana is submitting this letter as the official Public Notification of our application to DEQ Opencut to extend the final reclamation date for our Jellison Road gravel pit. This site has been active since 2002 as a commercial gravel and asphalt resource. The original permit and maps are being updated. The pit is located in Flathead County, at 285 Jellison Rd, Kalispell, Montana. Access to the site is directly from Jellison Rd. via a paved approach. The total area which will be under permit has not changed and will continue to be 80 acres. It is estimated that approximately 1.2 million yards of material will be removed from the site by the time of final reclamation. Final reclamation, which includes re-establishment of vegetation and the existence of a fishery pond, will be completed by December of 2070.
