This site has been active since 2002 as a commercial gravel and asphalt resource. The original permit and maps are being updated. The pit is located in Flathead County, at 285 Jellison Rd, Kalispell, Montana. Access to the site is directly from Jellison Rd. via a paved approach. The total area which will be under permit has not changed and will continue to be 80 acres. It is estimated that approximately 1.2 million yards of material will be removed from the site by the time of final reclamation.
