Town hall meeting to address homelessness, poverty

Collaborative Housing Solutions of Northwest Montana will host a Homeless Town Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Gateway Community Center in Kalispell.

Welcoming and introductions will be given by Kalispell City Council member Kyle Waterman and moderated by state Rep. Frank Garner, R-Kalispell. Panelists will include representatives from Samaritan House, Community Action Partnership of

Northwest Montana, Flathead Warming Center, Ray of Hope, and North West Montana Veterans Stand Down.

Prior to the town hall, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., there will be a Poverty Simulation with a maximum participant limit of 84 people, so an RSVP is required if you plan to attend.
