Law roundup: Woman takes long bathroom break

A woman locked herself in a bathroom and refused to come out for several hours, according to a call to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

A woman said she saw someone let a dog out of a car, then drive away as the dog chased the car. An officer later saw the dog back in the vehicle, and said the claim of animal cruelty was “unfounded.”

Someone who was storing items for a woman reportedly stole the items and sold them.

Someone rented a truck with another person’s belongings in it, then abandoned the truck. The owner of the belongings tried to get them back, but the person who owned the rental said he couldn’t give belongings to anyone but the person who rented the truck.

A man in Columbia Falls found a bullet in his window.

Someone driving by people changing a tire reported them to the police because the caller was worried the tire change was “dangerous.”
