Maybe it was just heartburn a person experienced when they described having “a bad feeling” after driving past a location and seeing four teens walking around. They asked officers to check on the group. Kalispell Police Department made contact with the teens and learned that they lived in the area, were walking back from a swing set and weren’t engaged in any shenanigans.

Store security was suspicious of a man who reportedly had a hatchet strapped to his belt and a shopping cart full of duffle bags and backpacks. At first, they wanted police to move the man along, but then decided they didn’t need law enforcement assistance.

A mischievous man wearing gym shorts with black leggings allegedly showed up in a man’s backyard and knocked on the window, then headed down an alley. The property owner wanted the man cited for trespassing if contact was made and told officers the last time he was there they chased him off with a shotgun.

Someone called the police alleging their “drunk and ornery” caregiver needed to be removed after trying to choke them. The caller said they would try to go to the bathroom to separate from the individual.

One man carrying a stack of dishes and another wearing a backpack were reportedly hiding items in a garbage bin. One of the men claimed he didn’t have anywhere “to put his stuff.” The men were moved along.

Someone claimed a man was walking unsteadily, vomiting on the sidewalk and talking to school children, which concerned them. The person told the Kalispell Police Department they were waiting near a group of girls to make sure he didn’t make contact with them. Officers made contact with the man, who said he had a couple of drinks but denied vomiting. He also said he was just walking back to a motel and didn’t need any help from officers.

A transient wearing camo pants was reportedly “getting up in people’s faces” and acting confrontationally to customers leaving a store. He moved on to another side of the building; however, a manager still wanted police to let him know he was banned from being on the property.
