Beatrice L. Duval Jensen, 92

Beatrice was the first born of nine children, born July 19,1929, to Leon and Anita (Sauvageau) Duval in Fargo, North Dakota. She was raised in Shelby, Montana, where she married Donald Riley Hicks. They relocated to Salt Lake City in 1964 where she owned and operated her own custom drapery business for 44 years while raising her family. Retired in her early 80s, Beatrice spent her final years in the beautiful Washougal mountains where she passed at home in peace on Dec. 7, 2021.
Bea Jensen was well known for her loving kindness and finding the very best in everyone. She could take any piece of fabric and create a work of art.
Beatrice was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Riley Jr. and Brian K. Hicks; three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a brother Clarence Duval of Kingman, Arizona, and sister MaryAnn Duval Mos of Cottonwood, California. At the age of 92 she leaves her loving family. She will be dearly loved and missed by all — Michelle Baker (Doug Warr) and Robert, Brian of Phoenix, Shirley (Brent) Everill and Tiffany of West Jordan, Utah, Lydia (Karl) Fraughton and Dustin, Corby, Kody of Washougal, Washington; Linette (Keith) Hall and Shane, Israel, of Columbia Falls; Brenda (Travis) Kell and Chalise, McKenzee, Jayson of Draper, Utah; along with 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home in Kalispell at 1 p.m. Dec. 17. She will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery Kalispell.
