Phyllis was born Sept. 15, 1931, to Roger and May Kinniburgh Booth in Wolf Point, Montana, and passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021.

She was the first of seven children. The family lived in Wolf Point and Culbertson before moving to Marion in 1941. One of her fondest memories of her childhood in Marion were the family dances.

Phyllis’ dad taught her to dance to Old Time Country and Western. This led to a love of both for her entire life.

Phyllis attended schools in Wolf Point, Culbertson, Marion and Kalispell. In 1948 she met Newton “Boots” Marvin. They both loved country music and dancing. This led to 56 years of marriage. The couple had four children, Terry, Joanne, Eileen and Amy. Sadly Boots passed away in 2004.

In 2008, Phyllis met Donald Hall Sr. and shared many memorable happy years with him.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Newton Marvin, daughter Joanne, sisters Dolla Collison and Mildred Morrison, brother Roger Jr. Booth, son-in-law Mark Turman, good friends Donald and Merlie Komenda, and second husband Donald Hall.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Terry and Gina of Athol, Idaho, Eileen Turman of Kalispell and Amy and Jeff Gregoire of Eureka. She is also survived by her sisters, Faye Loveless, Patty Robinson and Helen Lily, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She also has many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well.

Phyllis is looking forward to dancing again in heaven.
