Law roundup: Student really doesn’t like her grades
A student was screaming, swearing and throwing plants off a deck because she didn’t like the grades she received that day. Since this was not the first call her family had made about this behavior, her parents were warned the Columbia Falls Police Department would soon fill out a report and likely take her to youth court.
A minor was found in possession of alcohol, but the person who reported him didn’t know how to spell his name.
A woman was overheard saying, “Oh, it’s on the phone with 911” on a call that turned out to be an accident.
Someone dropped off a sedative they found to the police department.
A driver on U.S. 2 was warned for driving without headlights.
Three police calls ended when the caller said there was no need for law enforcement’s help.
The CFPD received two calls regarding missing keyholders at a pair of businesses, but the keyholders appeared in both cases.
