Bravettes pull away on Bozeman, now 4-0

BOZEMAN — The Flathead Bravettes are suddenly 4-0, with Maddy Moy and Claire Converse leading a 58-40 non-conference girls basketball win over Bozeman.

Avery Chouinard hit a pair of 3-pointers and Converse hit another while Flathead took a 17-7 lead. Moy, who finished with a game-high 14 points, scored five in the third quarter as the Bravettes opened up a 43-25 lead.

Converse hit three 3-pointers and finished with 10 points. The sweep of the Bozeman schools gives Flathead more wins this December than they had all last season, when they went 2-13.

The Bravettes’ next action will be Jan 7, at Western AA rival Butte.

Emily Williams led the Hawks with 11 points.
