GREAT FALLS — A lot of lessons, a lot of emotion — and three wrestlers going forward at the CMR Holiday Classic.
The Glacier Wolfpack will have three boys wrestling on Day 2 of the meet today.
Aiden Krause, Garrett Bosch and Kaleb Shine, all made it through to the second day.
Shine had a takedown right at the buzzer to make it.
“With only one person on the team ever competing here, I am really excited for our boys who went out and battled. We finished matches really well today, winning a number of them right at the end, including two by Aiden Krause. There was a lot of great takeaways and learning going on today,” said Glacier coach Ross Dankers.
Billings West is in first place with 148.5, followed by Billings Senior at 130.5 and Great Falls High at 118.5. The Wolfpack is currently sitting in 15th place with 71.5 points.
Class A Columbia Falls is in 12th place with 75 points.
The MatCats Justin Windauer has pinned his way through the first four rounds.
Windauer, at 138 pounds, pinned his first opponent in 2:52, then followed that up with a 40 second match in the second round, 1:11 in the third and 2:22 in the fourth round.
