Whitefish woodcrafter joins Kalispell art cooperative
Whitefish woodcrafter Tim Hintze has joined Paint, Metal and Mud, a unique artists’ cooperative, and now has his work on display and for sale at the gallery located in downtown Kalispell.
Hintze, founder and operator of Table Top Timbers, has been working with wood off and on for more than 40 years. He specializes in custom-made charcuterie and cutting boards, as well as other products aimed at elevating the entertaining experience. Hintze works with a variety of woods and enjoys experimenting with exotic varieties such as purple heart, paduk and bubinga, as well as working with domestic hardwoods like cherry, maple and walnut.
He is a member of Artists and Craftsmen of the Flathead.
The Paint, Metal and Mud gallery is located at 8 First St. E. in Kalispell. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Starting in January, hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
