No. 27517 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY BERNE ROAD, COLUMBIA FALLS, MT The Board of Viewers has reported to the Flathead County Board of Commissioners on the proposed abandonment of a portion of the public right-of-way on Berne Road in Columbia Falls, Montana that can legally be described as follows: A strip of land 40 feet in width, 20 feet each side of the following described line: beginning at a point on the East and West mid-section line Section 11, Township 30 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., being 325 feet, more or less, East of the center of said Section 11, thence 39º01' East, a distance of 180 feet, more or less,; thence North 30º08' east, a distance of 155 feet; thence North 37º46' East, a distance of 240 feet; thence North 53º32' East, a distance of 660 feet; thence North 19º00' East, a distance of 150 feet; thence North 2º35' West, a distance of 359 feet; more or less, to a point on the North line of the Southwest 1/4 Northeast 1/4 being 60 feet, more or less, South 88º04' West from the Northeast 1/16 corner of said Section 11. Notice is hereby given to the petitioners or landowners, as disclosed by the last assessment roll of Flathead County, owning land abutting the portion of the right-of-way, as described above, that it is being considered for abandonment. The public hearing on this petition will be held on February 16, 2021 at 10:30 o'clock a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers, Third Floor, County Courthouse, 800 South Main, Kalispell, Montana.
