Flathead at Big Sky boys basketball also postponed

Flathead activities director Bryce Wilson announced Tuesday that the school’s varsity and junior varsity boys’ basketball games at Missoula Big Sky Thursday have been postponed.

Glacier had its Tuesday home matchups with Big Sky’s varsity and JV boys’ teams canceled, so the Flathead news is not surprising. Wilson said he received word of the cancellations at 6 p.m. Tuesday, however.

Each Class AA team is playing a 14-game, conference-only slate and the games will be made up. The postponements leave each Kalispell school with one boys’ game this week: Glacier is at Missoula Sentinel Thursday at 7:15 p.m.; and Flathead plays host to Sentinel Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
