Teen dies in fatal rollover crash

An 18-year-old man died in a one-vehicle traffic accident late Tuesday night near Kalispell.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a Dodge Ram 2500 truck was traveling south on Secondary Road 424, also known as Three Mile Drive, at about 11:30 p.m. when it drove off the right side of the road and rolled.

The man and another person in the truck, an 18-year-old woman, were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the truck.

The man died at the scene and the woman was taken to Kalispell Regional Healthcare.

A Highway Patrol spokesperson said it’s not known which person was driving and the crash is still being investigated.

Alcohol, drugs or speed were not believed to be factors in the accident.
