Joshua 'Josh' Fleck, 34

| February 8, 2021 12:00 AM

On Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, Joshua “Josh” Fleck passed away in Libby, at the age of 34.

Josh was born on Oct. 19, 1986, in Escondido, California, to Dan and Stacy Fleck. His family later moved to the Flathead Valley and settled in Kalispell where Josh grew up and attended Flathead High School. Over the years, Josh would work side by side with his dad Dan in the construction business, but he really loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing, and enjoyed them whenever he could.

He was kind and generous and a lifelong fan of “all things Viking.”

Josh loved his Bible and didn’t’ mind telling about how he read it daily and, in fact, enjoyed boasting the accomplishment of having read it in its entirety several times over the last couple of years.

In 2015, Josh relocated to Libby where he and younger sister Briana shared a home while trying to rebuild their lives after the passing their parents a year earlier.

Josh was big in stature with a heart and a smile to match. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sister, Briana Fleck; a grandmother, Sandra Maxwell; his uncle, Tim Fleck; and aunts, Melody Balla, Teresa Johnson, Beth Stanslow and Dawn Stanslow; and numerous cousins.

Friends and family are invited to attend Josh’s memorial service on Feb. 13 at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Michael Hance at Valley Community Church of God, 2149 U.S. 2 E., Kalispell, MT 59901. A reception will immediately follow.
