Law roundup: Man found with ax and sledgehammer
A man wearing pajama bottoms and no shoes was reportedly found passed out in the hallway of a building where he didn’t live, next to a pile of belongings that included an ax and a sledgehammer. Building security called the Kalispell Police Department when he refused to leave multiple times.
Someone called the police on two people, who appeared to be in their mid-teens or 20s because they were reportedly going around yelling and throwing ice at buildings. The caller thought they were on drugs because what they were yelling was a bunch of “jibber-jabber.”
A vehicle in a drive-thru was reportedly not allowing people to get through, which led to a lot of honking and yelling.
A man went to the emergency room after sustaining a gunshot wound to the hand. The man allegedly went to pick up the gun, which was cocked, and accidentally shot his hand. Officers took the gun as evidence to complete a report of the incident.
Someone went to check on an elderly man lying on the side of the road and requested officers check on his welfare when they couldn’t get him off the sidewalk because he was so drunk.

A friend of a friend reportedly texted threats to a woman that people were going to come after her and her family and he also posted intimidating things on social media.
