A slender man dressed in black and described as being as white as a ghost, reportedly was holding a bunch of clothing and stomping around an apartment complex where he didn’t belong. A woman told the Kalispell Police Department she thought he might be “methed out.” Officers were unable to locate the jumpy man.

A man with a big beard allegedly jumped out of his vehicle at a light and started yelling at another driver and trying to get into their vehicle. The man reportedly tore the side mirror off the vehicle. The other driver told officers the man had two kids in his vehicle, which was headed onto Stillwater Road.

A store manager asked police for assistance in removing an inebriated man from the deli.

Five teens were jumping in front of vehicles as they came down a hill. Officers arrived to find one boy sitting in the middle of the road. The kids were counseled.

A vehicle was driving 30 mph and pulling people around in sleds.

A pastor found a transient sitting in a doorway and said she seemed “out of it,” as if she was either trying to sleep, or was intoxicated. They asked officers to check on her welfare and then move her along. Officers dropped her off at another location.

A woman told officers she wasn’t able to get her vehicle out because a hill down to a park was “solid ice,” adding that it was also putting sledders at risk. The street department was notified.

Someone asked officers to check on the welfare of an older man seen lying on a sidewalk. The man claimed he didn’t fall, but had been lying there long enough that his clothes reportedly froze to the concrete.

A woman told the police three to four trucks were driving unsafely and almost hit her vehicle. She thought they were driving that way on purpose and not because of poor road conditions.

A woman reportedly was caught on security footage stealing two bows from a business, and left in a vehicle with a rear broken window that was taped up. The missing merchandise was valued at approximately $2,500.

Officers responded to a call about a party where underage drinking allegedly was going on, with about 20 kids in attendance. The youths were released to their parents.

Someone complained about a noisy party where people were “screaming drunkenly.” When officers arrived, however, the place was quiet and no one answered the door.

Someone allegedly found drug paraphernalia and a cooler in a storage unit that was supposed to be unoccupied.
