Whitefish boys nudge Browning, 53-51
WHITEFISH — Jayce Cripe scored 19 points and Bodie Smith added 17, and Whitefish edged Browning 53-51 in a Northwest A boys’ basketball game Saturday.
Cody Carlson scored 13 points led Browning, which fell to 4-7, 2-6 in league. The Bulldogs improved to 7-8, 4-6.

HELENA – Brayden Koch poured in 21 points and backcourt mate Malachi Syvrud added 14 as Helena Capital cruised to the Western AA win over Glacier.
Glacier (5-7), which beat Capital at home 47-44 bak on Jan. 30, was led by Connor Sullivan’s six points. Capital (5-6) opened up a 20-4 first-quarter lead and pushed out further in the third quarter.
