Kenzie Williams scored 15 points and the Glacier Wolfpack built a 17-point lead through three quarters of its 54-42 season-opening girls’ basketball win over Missoula Big Sky Thursday.

Sidney Gulick added 12 points for the foul-plagued Wolfpack, who saw both Williams and Janessa Henson (nine points) pick up five personals.

“It was certainly a first-game atmosphere for the Wolfpack,” second-year coach Amanda Cram said. “I’m positive that we can play better and I’m looking forward to creating more defensive intensity.

“We struggled with fouls throughout the entire game and we absolutely have to be more disciplined from here on out.”

Sidney Gulick added 12 points for Glacier, which will play at Missoula Sentinel Saturday.

Avari Batt’s 15 points led the Eagles. Corbyn Sandau added 14 points, including three 3-pointers.
