Jeff Robert Timlick, 46
Jeff Robert Timlick was born July 9, 1974, and went to be with his heavenly Father on Jan. 11, 2021, in Kalispell. Jeff was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and member of the community. He was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Jeff graduated in 1992 from Columbia Falls High School. He attended FVCC, Dawson Community College, and completed an electrical apprenticeship in Seattle. He went on to become a master electrician. Jeff began his work at Kalispell Electric in 2001 as a journeyman electrician and eventually became a project manager and part-owner. Jeff was passionate about lighting up the Flathead Valley!
In 1998, Jeff married the love of his life, Stephanie Van Helden. Together they have two wonderful children, Hailey and Justin. Jeff was deeply committed to his family and could often be found taking everyday moments to teach his children important life lessons that have shaped them into incredible young adults. From choir concerts to football games, horse shows to archery tournaments, his greatest joy was being with his family, and he was their biggest fan.
While working in Seattle, Jeff enjoyed kayaking with Stephanie in their free time. Once they moved home to Montana they spent most weekends skiing, camping, boating, hiking, or hunting. His passion for the great outdoors was contagious to his family and friends.
Jeff was a hard worker and a man of integrity. He was intelligent, full of ingenuity, and a handyman who was able to find the solution to most problems. He was kind and generous, determined and tenacious, steady and thoughtful, loving and brave. He was intentional about making time for those around him and lightened the mood with his sense of humor, fun personality and a smile that lit up a room.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Linda Graham. He is survived by his loving wife Stephanie of 22 years and his adored children Hailey and Justin; parents Tom and Kendyl Timlick; sister Crystal Stricklin and husband Bob; sister Tami Williams and grandmother Nina Le Sueur; in-laws Steve and Naine Van Helden; Lindsey and Jesse Erickson; Luke Van Helden and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeff’s honor to the Stillwater Free Lutheran Church Activity Center, a community service project to which he donated his expertise and resources.
The family welcomes all who wish to join us for the celebration of his life. The service will be held at Canvas Church on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 12:30 p.m., with a reception immediately following.
