Time for neighbors to mend fence

A Marion woman asked the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office wanting to know what to do after the windstorm blew the neighbor’s tree onto a fence separating them because they allegedly had no-contact orders in place.

A generator reportedly blew up on Swan View Trail in Bigfork. No injuries were reported.

Someone claimed there was a lot of garbage outside of a location on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls and they thought the residents were using the outdoors as their toilet.

A resident on Elk Park Road in Columbia Falls reportedly wanted to know what his rights were in a situation involving a neighbor parking their vehicle halfway in the road.

An individual, who was wearing a reflective vest, camo pants and what looked like bear spray in a holster, was allegedly wandering in the sheriff’s office lobby and detention waiting area. The person was then seen recording the building and an officer in his patrol truck using a cellphone on a selfie stick. Deputies reportedly thought the person may have been purposely trying to force a confrontation with law enforcement and believed an anonymous complaint made earlier was a ploy to lure officers into the lobby or parking lot.

A couple of men seen sitting in a truck for nearly three hours in Kalispell told a woman they were “DCI” agents when she asked them what they were doing. She wanted to confirm this with deputies.

Someone calling from Lakeview Drive in Lakeside reportedly told deputies their mother saw a flashlight shining through a window and a person rang the doorbell three times. The person then ran, getting into a white car that drove off.

Two dogs on the loose reportedly growled at children and tried to get into a bunny hutch on Bison Drive in Kalispell.
