Lions roll to win against Valkyries

BIGFORK — Jadyn Pluid poured in 14 points for the Eureka Lady Lions in a District 7B win over the Bigfork Valkyries on Thursday.

Pluid also had five assists and five rebounds. Reena Truman had 10 rebounds to add to her six points.

Katie Schmidt added 11 for the Lions, who are 6-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

For the Valkyries, Emma Berreth scored 17 and Madison Chappuis added 14.

Eureka has its first home game of the season today at 7 p.m. against the undefeated Columbia Falls Wildkats.
