Louisiana lady runs out of meds
A 33-year-old woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department she rode a bus from Louisiana to Columbia Falls all by herself. When she got to the Flathead Valley, she said she ran out of her medication and she didn’t know what it was called. The police transported her to the hospital in Kalispell.
A woman who identified herself as a grandmother tripped an alarm at a residence on Talbot Road in Columbia Falls. She told the police her son was the only person who could reset the alarm, but he was on a plane at the time she set it off. She promised she’d call him to sort out the matter once his plane landed.
Someone gave out the last four digits of his Social Security number to a scammer who said he was calling from India regarding unspecified accounts in Texas. The scammer also talked to the victim about his alleged camera, which the local man told the CFPD did not exist.
Debris was removed from Veteran Drive in Columbia Falls.
A parent picked up an “out of control student” from school.
A woman who appeared to be dealing with a few different medical issues apparently fell out of bed and cut her finger. She seemed to be “extremely intoxicated,” and she told her brother she was expecting to have a seizure. She was emphatic that she didn’t want any help, but her brother promised to try to get some medical attention for her bleeding finger.
An anonymous caller said students at Columbia Falls High School have been spending their lunch breaks “peeling out and hitting people[’s] garbage cans.”
