C-Falls splits with Hamilton; Whitefish girls beat Polson

COLUMBIA FALLS — The Columbia Falls Wildkats continued their winning ways with a 48-37 Class A victory over Hamilton.

Maddie Robison led the Wildkats (8-0 overall, 4-0 conference) with 16 points, 11 of which she scored in the first quarter.

Lakia Hill added 10 points, and Mady Hoerner had eight rebounds.

For Hamilton, Maddie Ringer scored 15.

POLSON — Gracie Smyley’s 15 points helped the Whitefish Lady Bulldogs cruise to a 55-21 Northwest A win over the Polson Lady Pirates.

Jadi Walburn added 14 points for the Bulldogs (4-2 overall, 2-1 conference).

Jazlyn Dalbey paced the Pirates (0-3, 0-1) who are still looking for their first win of the season.

WHITEFISH — The Polson Pirates defeated the Whitefish Bulldogs 72-52 in a Northwest A boys basketball game Saturday behind Colton Graham’s 26-point performance.

Jarrett Wilson and Tervor Lake each added 12 for the Pirates (6-0, 3-0).

For Whitefish (1-5, 0-3), Talon Holmquist scored 15.
