Whitefish girls take down Eureka, ‘Kats win again
WHITEFISH — Brook Smith’s double-double helped the Whitefish Lady Bulldogs take down the Eureka Lady Lions 55-43 in nonconference play Tuesday.
Smith scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds.
Also scoring in double digits for Whitefish were Gracie Smyley with 15 and Jadi Walburn with 12.
Eureka scored five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter but couldn’t get past the lead Whitefish built with a huge third quarter where the Bulldogs outscored the Lions 19-4.
Kyla Bohne paced the Lions with 18 points.

FRENCHTOWN — A fourth-quarter surge powered the Columbia Falls Wildkats to a 43-34 win over the Frenchtown Broncs, their ninth straight victory.
Hannah Schweikert poured in 21 points for the Wildkats (9-0 overall, 4-0 conference), and Maddie Robison added eight.
Lauren Demmons paced the Broncs (3-4, 2-0) with eight points.
