Person’s screams far from pitch-perfect
A Baker Avenue resident claimed someone walked past their house “screaming at the top of their lungs.” All was quiet, however, when Whitefish Police Department officers drove through the area.
Officers responded to a report of a disorderly man with a knife who allegedly broke into a bar through a window and was being held down by a bartender on Central Avenue. Another call associated with the incident came in where someone provided the man’s name and said “he was there with a horse.”
A man started screaming and cursing at another man on Flathead Avenue whom he had a restraining order against.
A later call came in from a man on U.S. 93 alleging he was approached by someone he had a temporary restraining order against, who was yelling profanities at him and started filming him.
Officers received complaints about parked vehicles associated with construction work on Tumblehome Avenue. Officers advised the construction crew supervisor on “proper parking procedure.”
Officers warned someone about illegal dumping on Rocky Lane.
A Yarrow Lane resident spotted a mountain lion underneath their deck.
Columbia Falls Police Department responded to a report of two males, one of them a juvenile, who allegedly attempted to steal alcohol at a gas station and then pushed an employee on Ninth Street.
Someone found drug paraphernalia while cleaning on Third Avenue.
A bald man with a green backpack was purportedly “causing problems” at the community college when he was seen wandering around the grounds. Kalispell Police Department officers checked the area but were unable to locate the problematic man.
A man reported his truck stolen after he left work to find it missing.
A woman returned to a location where she yelled at a front desk employee while recording him.
The lock to a storage unit was broken, the door “wedged up” and items taken.
Someone claimed they had a temporary restraining order against a neighbor who was throwing things over the fence that they believed was an attempt to poison their dog.
A condo resident purportedly threatened someone and their child because “they went through the wrong gate.” Extra patrol was requested.
