Flathead County has 14 more COVID deaths

The Flathead City-County Health Department has been notified of 14 additional COVID-19 related deaths of individuals in Flathead County.

These deaths were a part of a statewide death record review by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, and were recently shared with the local health department for reconciliation. These deaths bring the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Flathead County to 74.

“We send our condolences to the families and friends of these fourteen individuals,” Joe Russell, health officer of the Flathead City-County Health Department, said in a press release. “Vaccine distribution is underway in Flathead County, but we continue to ask individuals to wear a mask, avoid crowds, and stay home when sick in order to protect our most vulnerable.”

The Flathead City-County Health Department will continue to update its novel coronavirus website daily with case counts and press releases.
