A woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department she was “flipped off” by someone inside a house as she walked by. The vulgar signal might have come from her nephew. The woman said if she did not report the incident to the police, the offender would likely “get more brazen.”

Another woman in Columbia Falls suspected “there is something criminal going on” when she apparently went through her deceased parents’ belongings and found their driver’s licenses with their identifying information cut off. She told the police there had been some “fraud-type issues in the past,” so she was worried the driver’s license tampering might be another fraud attempt.

A business owner wanted information about a vehicle with Missouri plates parked near his business, but he said he didn’t want it to be towed away at the time of his call.

A woman requested the police counsel a nearby business owner because he allegedly left two notes on her car informing her she couldn’t park in the location because it was private property. However, she said she called the city of Columbia Falls and was told the parking spot was actually public city property.

A blue wallet was reported lost on Seventh Street in Columbia Falls.

A woman was reportedly hallucinating inside a Columbia Falls business. She was allegedly, “talking about a cult” and claiming “people were following her” and “cops were out to get her.” Before anyone could “get her,” however, she got into a silver van and left the location.

A man who was forbidden from being at a business apparently showed up there anyway. According to the manager at the site, the unwelcome visitor was “getting an attitude” toward him and his employees. Law enforcement made contact with the unwanted guest and informed him he could not return there again.

Two brothers apparently got into a fight and one of them ended up holding the other one down so he wouldn’t drive away intoxicated. The relatives reportedly managed to sort out the situation without law enforcement’s help.
