Bigfork, Eureka send gridders to B All-Stars

Eureka and Bigfork are heavily represented in the 32nd Class B All-Star football game that is set for June 12 in Lockwood.

The rosters, released this week, include three players from Bigfork and two from Eureka on the North squad, which draws from the Western and Northern divisions.

The South squad draws from the Southern - including 2021 State B champion Manhattan - and Eastern divisions. Players will arrive in Billings by Wednesday to participate in a short practice week.

Gunnar Smith and Colter Cassaza were selected from Eureka, while Bigfork had Cormac Benn, Luke Benson and Walker Fisher picked.

The North won the last contest, in 2019, by a 41-34 score to take a 16-15 lead in the series. The game was not played in 2020 because of the pandemic.
