Thomas Michael Witham, 69

Thomas Michael Witham, 69, of Kalispell, went to his heavenly home with Jesus on March 23, 2021.

Tom was born on April 14, 1951, to Donald and Irene (Breit) Witham in Annapolis, Maryland.

Tom attended and graduated from North Platte High School and went on to study at the University of Nebraska for a short time before joining the United States Navy, serving honorably from 1970 to 1974 as an electronic mechanic.

Tom worked as an EMT and firefighter before working for Burlington Northern Railroad as an engineer,

He moved to Montana to make it his home. Tom married Roseann Shields on July 31, 1993. They celebrated 28 wonderful years together. Tom worked at Arco Aluminum Plant in Columbia Falls and also owned and operated a painting business and a communication business.

Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to camp and skeet and trap shooting, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Roseann Witham, and daughter Kayla Witham, and sister Janet (Ken) Buttermore of Gretna, Nebraska.

A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Saturday June 12, at Easthaven Baptist Church with military honors and a reception to follow the services.

Tom was a devoted husband and father that cherished his family, he sorely will be missed by all who knew him.
