Law roundup: Neighbors won’t put up with any bull
Luckily no one in the neighborhood appeared to be dressed in red when a bull was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for walking down the middle of a road in Kalispell. The bull was returned to the pasture where it belonged.
Two women on horseback told a man in Whitefish to call law enforcement because they believed they had found missing wallaroos.
An irresponsible brother who was supposed to be watching a dog lost the animal and called law enforcement the next day.
Another dog, who “goes by Stinky,” was turned into the Flathead County Animal Shelter.
A different pet owner lost her two cats. She said someone called, told her they would steal the cats, and then fulfilled the threat.
Someone in Columbia Falls complained about the noise from drivers doing burnouts and “parties going on somewhere.”
An unfortunate boater somehow “lost two orange kayaks somewhere between Swan Lake and Kalispell.”
A businessman said a “strange pickup” was parked in front of his shop, but he hung up the phone before giving out further information. It was revealed the owner of the “strange” vehicle was having car trouble.
Some neighbors might have regretted their choice of a housesitter when a woman called to tell the sheriff’s office she was supposed to keep an eye on their house, their dog and their cat. She said their back door was “wide open” and she couldn’t see either animal. The situation turned out to be a miscommunication.
